Powertrain

Includes these essential powertrain components listed below.

ENGINE AND WATER PUMP: All internal lubricated parts including crankshaft and bearings, oil pump, fuel pump, timing chain and gears, timing chain tensioners, timing belt and timing belt tensioners, camshaft and bearings, followers/lifters, rocker arm assemblies, push rods, valve guides and valves, pistons, piston rings, wrist pins and connecting rods, flywheel/flexplate, exhaust manifold(s) and motor mounts. Water Pump. The engine block and cylinder heads are covered if damaged by the Breakdown of a covered component. Turbo/Supercharger Equipped: When selected on the Information Page, the factory installed turbocharger(s) or supercharger and all internal parts and their housing are covered. Diesel/Turbo Diesel Equipped: When selected on the Information Page, all internal lubricated parts listed under ENGINE and Turbo/Supercharger plus the diesel fuel injection pump are covered. EV/Hybrid Drive: When selected on the Information Page, the EV/Hybrid drive electric motor, hybrid drive-transaxle and hybrid drive computer are covered.

TRANSMISSION AND TRANSAXLE: (Automatic and Manual): All internally lubricated parts including oil pump, valve body, torque converter, governor, bushings, shafts, gear sets, bearings, modulator, shift forks, synchronizers, transmission mounts. The case housing(s) are covered if damaged by the Breakdown of a covered component. Transfer Case: When the 4WD/AWD box is selected on the Information Page, the transfer case housing and all internally lubricated parts and transfer case mount are covered.

DRIVE AXLE: (Front or Rear Wheel Drive Equipped): Drive axle housing and all internal lubricated components including carrier case, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, thrust washers, axles and axle bearings, limited slip clutch. Drive shaft, universal joints, constant velocity joints.

SEALS AND GASKETS: Seals and gaskets are covered when replaced in conjunction with a covered Breakdown.

TAXES AND FLUIDS: State and local taxes where applicable and fluids required to complete covered repairs.

Plus

Includes all of Powertrain and the enhanced named components listed below.

POWER STEERING: (Steering Gear or Rack and Pinion): Gear box, pump, power control valve, rack and pinion and electric motor (if equipped), rack mount bushings, pitman arm, idler arm, tie rod(s), center link, bearings and shafts.

PRIMARY ELECTRICAL: Alternator/generator, voltage regulator, starter motor, starter solenoid, front and rear windshield wiper motor(s).

PRIMARY BRAKES: Master cylinder, brake calipers, wheel cylinders.

Power

Includes all of Powertrain, Plus, and the enhanced named components listed below.

AIR CONDITIONING: Compressor, compressor clutch and drive pulley, expansion valve, evaporator, condenser, receiver drier, blower motor.

ENHANCED ELECTRICAL: Factory installed wiring harness, distributor, ignition coil(s), fuel injection sensors, fuel injectors, electronic ignition module, electronic control module, body control module, engine management control computer, manually operated control switches for covered components, rear window heating elements, power window motors, power sliding door and hatch lift motors, power window regulators, power mirror motors, power seat motors, power lock actuators. Instrument cluster and gauges. Cruise control module, servo and control switch. Electronic level control compressor including its sensor and limiter valve.

Premier

Includes all of Powertrain, Plus, Power and the enhanced named components listed below.

ENHANCED BRAKES: Power brake cylinder, assist booster, hydro boost, combination valve, compensating valve, metal brake lines and metal fittings. Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) hydraulic control unit, electronic control module, wheel speed sensors, hydraulic pump or motor, pressure modulator valve, isolation dump valve and accumulator. Parking brake linkage and cables.

FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control arms, control arm shafts and bushings. Radius arm(s) and bushings. Upper and lower ball joints, strut bearing plate(s), spindle and spindle support, wheel bearings, hub bearings. Stabilizer bar, stabilizer mounts and bushings, stabilizer links. Active suspension-variable control compressor, control module height sensor and actuator, mode control switch.

COOLING AND VENTILATION: Radiator, engine cooling fan and fan clutch, electric cooling fan motor and condenser fan motor, serpentine belt tensioner, heater core, heater control valve, thermostat, temperature control programmer.

FUEL: Fuel pump, fuel sending unit, fuel tank.

SEALS AND GASKETS: Failed seals and gaskets for listed covered components.

Exclusive

We will cover the necessary Costs of repairs for any Breakdown to Your Vehicle, less payment of the Deductible amount per repair visit except for those items and terms listed under EXCLUSIONS-WHAT IS NOT COVERED.
